Born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, he moved to France. After studying mathematics and physics and, later, doing research in particle and nuclear physics at CERN (phD for the NA38 and NA50 experiments) , he decided to leave his country to travel and see the world.
He moved to Mumbai, India. For 4 years, he taught physics and mathematics at the French school of Mumbai. There, he was also involved in music, playing saxophone in different bands and working as an illustrator for magazines (Elle India, Jazz magazine ...).
He moved to San Francisco where he teaches science at the French American school of San Francisco.
